ワイヤレスCarPlayとAndroid Autoの接続方法

ステップ1、付属のケーブルを車の通信用のUSBポートに挿して、USB-C側を本体に挿します。ステップ2（iPhoneの場合）、 iPhoneの「Wi-Fi」と「Bluetooth」をオンにして、Bluetooth 名「AdapterMX-xxxx」とペアリングします。iPhone 上で「CarPlayを使いますか？」と表示されたら、「CarPlayを使う」をタッチして、ワイヤレスCarPlayに接続されます。ステップ2（Androidの場合）、 スマホに最新のAndroid Autoアプリがインストールされているかを確認して、Bluetooth 名「AdapterMX-xxxx」とペアリングします。 数秒待てばペアリング完了で、ワイヤレスAndroid Autoに接続されます。

USBケーブルを接続するだけの簡単設定

車両のパネルを外して、電源をヒューズボックスに差し込む、そんな面倒な作業は必要ありません。車両の通信USBポートとアダプターのUSBポート(Type-C)を差し込むだけで準備完了です。あとはスマホとBluetoothでペアリングするだけで、ワイヤレスカープレイ/アンドロイドオートが楽しめます。なお、初回設定後次回からはエンジン起動後、自動で接続されるので面倒なケーブルの抜き差しから開放されます。

Ottocast専用アプリOttoPilot

オットキャストには専用のアプリがあがりました。Google Playストアか、AppStore内から「OttoPilot」で検索してインストールできます。専用アプリ「OttoPilot」には初設定、デバイスエラー時の解決方法、ファームウェア更新など、内容が充実しています。もし製品に不具合があった場合、多くの場合ファームウェアの更新で問題が解決されます。

Ottocast, which is popular in Japan, has released a new 3 in 1 adapter, the OttoAdapter MX. By changing the wired connection to wireless, you can connect your smartphone to CarPlay/Android Auto using only Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. You can also mirror your iPhone to the car navigation system using AirPlay (only supports YouTube and Apple TV). Compared to commercially available products, MX has almost no delay, making your car life more comfortable than ever. *Some apps are not designed to be mirrored due to the manufacturer's intentions.

How to connect wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

Step 1, insert the included cable into the car's USB port for communication and insert the USB-C side into the main unit. Step 2 (for iPhones), Turn on the iPhone's "Wi-Fi" and "Bluetooth" and pair it with the Bluetooth name "AdapterMX-xxxx". When "Do you want to use CarPlay?" is displayed on the iPhone, touch "Use CarPlay" to connect to wireless CarPlay. Step 2 (Android): Check that the latest Android Auto app is installed on your smartphone and pair it with the Bluetooth name "AdapterMX-xxxx". Wait a few seconds and the pairing will be complete and you will be connected to wireless Android Auto.

To use CarPlay wirelessly, you need a genuine vehicle with wired CarPlay and an iPhone with iOS 10 or later. 3. To use the AirPlay function, you need a genuine vehicle with wired CarPlay and an iPhone with iOS 10 or later. 4. The car is equipped with a Type A or Type C USB port for communication, not power supply.

Easy setup just by connecting the USB cable

There is no need to remove the vehicle panel and plug the power into the fuse box, which is a hassle. Just plug the vehicle's communication USB port into the adapter's USB port (Type-C) and you're ready to go. Ottocast now has a dedicated app. You can install it by searching for "OttoPilot" from the Google Play Store or the AppStore. The dedicated app "OttoPilot" contains a wide range of content, including initial setup, how to solve device errors, and firmware updates. If there is a problem with the product, in many cases the problem can be solved by updating the firmware.
