ヘッドカバーガスケットとは、エンジン中にかかる圧力をゴムを挟み込むことにより オイルが外に漏れないようにシールの働きをしています。 長年使用しているとゴムが痩せオイルが漏れてきます。エンジンをOHされる方は、同時の交換される事をお勧め致します。

The head cover gasket acts as a seal to prevent oil from leaking out by sandwiching rubber against the pressure inside the engine. After years of use, the rubber will become thin and oil will leak out. If you are having your engine overhauled, we recommend replacing it at the same time.
