純正は紙の構造になります。紙製のガスケットよりも当然の事ながら、メタルガスケットの方が排気漏れを起こしにくいのが特徴です。インマニ交換等の作業の際にも、純正の様な貼付きによる作業も防ぐ事ができます。またメタルのメリットは純正に比べて温度、圧力に対して非常に高いレベルでシール性を確保できます。またメタルの為、サージタンク交換する際も吸気まわりの剛性を保ちます。

The genuine gasket is made of paper. Naturally, metal gaskets are less likely to cause exhaust leaks than paper gaskets. When replacing the intake manifold, it also prevents the gasket from sticking like the genuine gasket. Another advantage of metal is that it can ensure a very high level of sealing against temperature and pressure compared to the genuine product. Also, because it is made of metal, the rigidity around the intake is maintained even when replacing the surge tank.
