Development began about three years ago, when the BRZ began to be distributed on the used market and people started to see it being drifted on the circuit. The concept of SUPER STREET is to have a wide range of height-adjustable suspension for drivers who mainly drive on the circuit, as well as those who usually drive on the street, and this is the form that D-MAX's "SUPER STREET SUSPENSION" is looking for. We developed a height-adjustable suspension for the BRZ that can be used as the base vehicle for future drift vehicles. The test driver used it on a regular basis for city driving, and also conducted repeated circuit driving tests, changing the specifications many times. It took time to receive evaluations for both the traction and handling operability, as well as the damping force and basic spring rate settings that were revised many times, but we have decided to release a high-spec, low-cost suspension that we sought when developing the Silvia, without compromising on any of the following: basic performance, damping force, adjustment, spring rate settings, and basic components.
