チタンTi-6Al-4Vとは、最も需要が多いチタン合金の一つで、6％のAl及び4％Vを含有するアルファ-ベータ合金です。この合金は通常Ti 6Al-4Vと呼ばれ、よく使われている材料の一つがこのα－β合金タイプの材料です。「軽く強度があり、耐食性や耐熱性に優れている」という特性があります。チタン最大の特長は、なんと言っても『軽くて強い』です。その理由は、「比強度の高さ」にあります。チタンは、非鉄金属の中では群を抜いてといえます。 またテーパー部にフローティングマウント（2ピース構造）を採用しています。その為ホイールとナットの接触面は動かずネジ部分のみを締め込むことが出来るため、正確なトルク値で締め付けがができ、接触面に余計なフリクションが掛からない為、テーパー座面(ホイール側/ナット側双方)の損傷軽減。脱着頻度の多いドリフト車両の後輪に特に効果を発揮します。
